Why I started Prakriti Sena
I grew up between Mathura and Delhi, in a world where nature and story were the same thing. Rivers had names and moods. The wind carried lessons. Every festival was, in its own way, a thank-you to the earth.
Then I watched my own son fall in love with heroes from somewhere else. Wonderful heroes, but from distant cities and imagined worlds. Not one of them came from his streets, his rivers, his festivals.
What if the next generation encountered nature not only as a problem to solve, but as a source of identity, imagination and power?
Prakriti Sena is my answer. Not a climate lesson wearing a costume, but a universe children will want to live inside. And in every story, the child is never merely watching. They are part of the Sena.

Across India, rivers were living beings and the five elements were the foundations of life. We carried that wisdom into heroes for today, each from a real place, each facing a threat their generation recognises.
We are India’s first story-led play and learning company, helping children reconnect with nature through Indian wisdom.

The real hero was never on the page.
